1) Earth Day, streaming networks. This is the day for streamers to debut nature films. There’s “Sea Lions of the Galapagos” on Disney+ and “Kiss the Ground” on Amazon Prime, each with a companion film. Also, Netflix has “Pangolin,” Apple TV+ has the new “Jane” season and Peacock and Hulu have the “Americas” series (shown here), a gem that just finished its NBC run.
2) More Earth Day. The brilliant “Secrets of the Penguins” will reruns from 8-11 p.m. on National Geographic and NatGeo Wild, preceded by previous “secrets” of elephants and octopuses. They’re also on Disney+, alongside great DisneyNature movies. Other packed libraries are on Apple TV+ (from Charlie Brown to “The Year the Earth Changed”) and Netflix.
3) “St. Denis Medical,” 8 p.m., NBC. The hospital’s annual gala brings a chance for fun, dance and a fundraising pitch. It’s an up-and-down episode, salvaged partly by David Alan Grier’s skill as Dr. Ron … and by a closing moment for the lovestruck Matt.
4) “The Cleaning Lady,” 8 p.m., Fox. In a terrific episode last week, Thony saved her life by suggesting a fake marriage to Jorge, the cartel leader. Tonight’s hour sags a bit, as she keeps complaining about details. Also, there are crises for his sister (in prison) and for his money man.
5) “Alert: Missing Persons Unit,” 9 p.m., Fox. This show has its good moments, but not tonight. The story centers on Sidney, Jason’s adoptive daughter. In the timeline, she should be about 20 … people talk to her like she’s 12 … and the actress who plays her is 28. The story has other flaws, before a few redeeming moments near the end.
