Best-bets for April 17: big night for Matty and Mariska

1) “Matlock” season-finale, 9-11 p.m., CBS. Matty (shown here) finally told Olympia the truth: She’s been lying, to learn which man – Olympia’s ex-husband or his dad – buried a drug report that could have saved lives. 2) “Law & Order” marathon, 8-11 p.m., NBC. Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) is everywhere. She’s in a crossover story that starts at “L&O,” then jumps to her own “L&O: Special Victims Unit” at 9. At 10, NBC has the first hour of the revamped “L&O: Organized Crime,” which will be on Peacock – where it has two episodes today, with Benson in the second.

3) “Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage,” 8 p.m., CBS. While creating new worlds, this has also adroitly weaved in some of the “Young Sheldon” characters. Tonight, Missy has a boyfriend and her big brother Georgie tries to break them up. Their mom also has her say.

4) “Grey’s Anatomy,” 10 p.m., ABC. When a window washer’s platform crashes through a window, it’s tragic – but geographically convenient: It’s a hospital window and the reaction is quick.

5) Streaming. On the day Peacock adds “L&O: Organized Crime,” others are busy. Amazon Prime has “Another Simple Favor” (a sequel to the 2018 “A Simple Favor”) and the animated “#1 Happy Family USA,” from clever comedian Ramy Youssef. And Netflix has “Ransom Canyon,” a ten-parter that has Josh Duhame as a “Yellowstone”-style rancher.
