1) “Good Cop/Bad Cop” season-finale, 9 p.m., CW. This first season has been way too short (eight episodes), but sharp and fun. Far from her role as Blair Waldorf in “Gossip Girl,” Leighton Meester plays a savvy cop, working with her smart-but-loopy brother (Luke Cook, shown here with Meester) for their dad, the police chief. Now an old case could rip the small town apart.
2) “Wild Cards,” 8 p.m., CW. The setting is a brash reality show in the “Real Housewives” style, with envy and evil. After a murder, Max goes undercover. The result strains credibility, but (as usual) manages to be entertaining.
3) “The Conners,” 8 p.m., ABC. It’s the third of six episodes in the final season, ramping up the key issue – reflections on the drug-addiction and death of the fictional Roseanne. Tonight, here widower (Dan) and daughter (Becky) wade into the subject. Meanwhile, Roseanne’s sister (Jackie) prepares to return to her old job with the police.
4) “Nova,” 9 p.m., PBS. History and science entwine, as people study the weapons used during the Revolutionary War. That’s followed by a “Future of Nature” hour, viewing the huge benefits of forests.
5) “Yentl” (1983) and “Fiddler on the Roof” (1971), 8 and 10:30 p.m., Turner Classic Movies. Both musicals offer strong emotions and intense Jewish history. Barbra Streisand did it all in “Yentl” – directing, co-writing, starring and singing (beautifully) 12 way-too-similar solos. “Fiddler” is way too long (three-hours-plus), but has a big story and great music.
