2) Basketball. It’s the second day of the college tourney, ousting CBS’ soap operas, “NCIS: Sydney,” “Fire Country” and “SWAT.” Close matches include Baylor (No. 9 in its quadrant) and Mississippi State (8), 12:15 p.m. ET, CBS; Vanderbilt (10)-Saint. Mary’s (7), 3:15, TruTV; New Mexico (10)-Marquette (7), 7:25, TBS; and Oklahoma (9)-Connecticut (8), 9:25, TNT.

3) “Great Performances at the Met,” 9 p.m., PBS. After winning Tonys for composing “Fun Home” and “Kimberly Akimbo,” Jeanine Tesori was commissioned to adapt George Brandt’s play about a pilot dealing with her family and her work in drone warfare. Emily D’Angelo stars.

4) “Move Over, Darling” (1963), 8 p.m. ET, Turner Classic Movies. Marilyn Monroe was working on this remake when she was fired (and died a short time later). Instead, it became a Doris Day/James Garner trifle. It’s pleasant and followed at 10 by “Some Like It Hot” (1959), which the American Film Institute put at No. 1 on its comedy list.

5) MORE: While basketball consumes most people, Fox has NASCAR trucks at 8 p.m. At 8:30, NBC has a “St. Denis Medical” rerun, including some fairly funny moments with a runaway cat. And there are animated films – “Tangled” at 8 p.m. on the Disney Channel and the “Monsters, Inc.” ones at 6:30 and 8:35 on Freeform.
