1) “Opry 100,” 8-11 p.m., NBC and Peacock. The Grand Ole Opry turns 100 on Nov. 28. Now, a tad early, Blake Shelton hosts a live mega-concert. Performers include Carrie Underwood, Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, Clint Black, Reba McEntire, Brad Paisley, Kelsea Ballerini (shown here), Vince Gill, Amy Grant, Jelly Roll, Luke Combs and more.
2) “Shifting Gears,” 8 p.m., ABC. Two strong comedy forces – Matt (Tim Allen) and Eve (Jenna Elfman) – collide. She commits the ultimate sin: damaging his car. Also, his daughter might return to her husband, who actually has a steady job. That’s followed by “Abbott Elementary,” with teachers hiding the golf-course contraband.
3) “Good Cop/Bad Cop,” 9 p.m., CW. A fairly good episode has the sibling cops going undercover, to probe a high-tech theft. The case also leaves Lou pondering her fractured relationship with her mother. That follows “Wild Cards,” with Max and the chief held hostage at the police station.
4) “Weathered: Inside the LA Firestorm,” 10 p.m. on many PBS stations. This looks at the conditions (weather and other) that led to the massive wildfires in Los Angeles. It asks what homeowners can do to protect themselves and what governments can do to prevent such disasters.
5) Sports. It’s the second of two baseball games, with the Cubs and Dodgers starting their season 10 days early. That’s in Tokyo, so it starts at 6:10 a.m. ET on Fox Sports1. Also, it’s the second of two “play in” nights for the college basketball tourney; TruTV has Mount St. Mary’s and American University at 6:40 p.m. and Xavier and Texas at 9:10.
