1) “Doc” season-finale, 9 p.m., Fox. A great first season ends powerfully. After a crash, Dr. Amy Larsen (shown here) lost eight years of memories. Now she’s learned of her son’s death, her divorce and her mistreatment of colleagues (including TJ, shown here) in the dark times that followed. Also, a colleague saddled her with guilt over his fatal error Now that peaks, amid a mass casualty.
2) Sports. At 6:10 a.m. (really, around dawn), the baseball season begins on Fox. It’s a Dodgers-Cubs game from Tokyo; other teams start on March 27. And at 6:30 and 9 p.m., it’s college basketball on TruTV. These are “play-in” games for spots in the tourney, which will reach full speed Thursday.
3) “The Joe Schmo Show,” 9 p.m., TBS. Next week is the finale, when Ben (an electrician from Baltimore) learns it’s all been a fake: The others are actors, making him think he’s in a bizarre reality show. In a funny (and, at times, uplifting) hour) he’s a finalist with sweet Maya and acerbic Jessica.
4) “The Irrational,” 10 p.m., NBC. A week after “Night Court” gave its actors a musical number, this show does the same. We won’t spoil any surprises, but it crafts a good story while letting Alec (Jesse Martin) have some vocal fun. Rose (Karen David) does the same and also steps into a broad acting role.
5) MORE: It’s also the season-finale of “Kitchen Nightmares,” at 8 p.m. on Fox; next week brings season-openers of “Alert: Missing Persons Unit” and “The Cleaning Lady.” And ABC has a tough night for teen girls: On “Will Trent” (8 p.m.), one is missing; on “The Rookie” (9), three were stabbed.
