2) “Tracker,” 8 p.m., CBS. Colter has done much of his searching in rural, wooded places. Now comes the opposite: He’s looking for a young woman who vanished in an upscale dressing room in New York City. That’s followed by “Watson” and then by “Equalizer,” with a history professor killed while searching for gold.

3) “The Americas,” 8 p.m., NBC. This gorgeous hour spans the 1,200-mile stretch along the Gulf of Mexico. The area has four of the five rainiest states in the U.S., plus sprawling swamps and bayous. We see ocelots, which are rare, and alligators, which aren’t. A ‘gator stir up the swamp to feed her young; a bear swims a mile so she can refuel and feed hers.

4) “Dark Winds,” 9 p.m., AMC, rerunning at 10:05. Beautifully crafted (in an eerie way), this hour starts and ends with dark jolts. In between, Joe searches for the teens who may know who killed Ernesto, Also, an FBI agent (Jenna Elfman) probes Joe’s past. And a rancher has secrets that Joe’s former deputy, a border guard, tries to uncover.

5) ALSO: NBC has an “Americas” rerun – a good one, in the western U.S. — at 7 p.m., with new hours of “Suits: LA” and “Grosse Pointe Garden Society” at 9 and 10. ABC has “American Idol” auditions, from 8-10 p.m.
