1) “Wizards Beyond Waverly Place” season-finale, 8 p.m., Disney Channel. Billie, the teen witch, always seems to have trouble, but this is a big one: She has disappeared; so has the son of Justin, her wizardry instructor. (Justin is shown here, with the kids, in a previous episode.) And one more complication: A villain might take over the world.
2) “NCIS: Sydney,” 8 p.m., CBS. Things start with an explosion at the home of a Navy cyber-scientist. Soon, the team is plunging into the world of conspiracy theories, in a well-crafted hour.
3) “SWAT,”” 10 p.m., CBS. It’s always something for these guys – even during a casual hike: Powell and Gamble stumble upon an illegal marijuana farm and soon confront a dangerous cartel. That follows a “Fire Country” hour that includes a blaze in (really) a baseball dugout.
4) “Great Performances,” 9 p.m., PBS. As PBS dives into its pledge period, many stations will air this Andrea Bocelli concert. He performs in Tuscany, with Jon Batiste, Shania Twain, Ed Sheeran, Sofia Carson, Brian May and the husband-wife David Foster and Katharine McPhee.
5) MORE: The “Suits LA” opener reruns at 8 p.m. on NBC. It has sharp dialog and stylish visuals, but the main characters feel cold and distant. The same is true of “Star Trek: Section 31,” at 7:15 p.m. on Showtime; after a compelling (and disturbing) flashback to her roots, we see Emperor Philippa (Michelle Yeoh) on a mission for the Federation.
