1) “Ghosts,” 8:30 p.m., CBS. Isaac has been grumbling about history’s cruel twist: The world forgot him … but gave his nemesis (Alexander Hamilton) a hit musical. Now flashbacks (shown here) tell us how their rivalry began. Hamilton is played by Nat Faxon, an Oscar-winning writer (“The Descendants”) who plays Jackie’s husband in “The Conners.”
2) “9-1-1,” 8-11 p.m., ABC. Next Thursday, ABC has its best night back, with new episodes of “9-1-1,” “Doctor Odyssey” and “Grey’s Anatomy.” To set that up, it reruns the three previous “9-1-1” hours. At 8, the team tries to rescue a child stuck in a pipe. At 9, Athena has self-doubts while mentoring a rookie; at 10, she probes a brutal beating.
3) “Eyes on the Prize III” conclusion, 9-11 p.m., HBO. The first hour views the complexities of affirmative action and school desegregation. The second visits a complex time: The U.S. had its first Black president, but had rising complaints of police brutality; the Black Lives Matter movement emerged.
4) Movies. Three days before the Academy Awards, we can savor some past best-picture winners. There’s “Titantic” (1997) ,at 5:30 p.m. on Freeform; “Gandhi” (1982), at 8 p.m. ET on Turner Classic Movies; and “Shakespeare in Love” (1998), at 9:50 on MGM+.
