1) “The Bachelor,” 8-10 p.m., ABC. Only seven women remain, including a lawyer, a tech engineer, a venture capitalist and a pediatric speech therapist. Tonight, Grant Ellis (shown here) takes them to Edinburgh, for a Scottish fair, a helicopter ride and more.
2) “The Voice,” 8-10 p.m., NBC. It’s the fourth round of auditions, out of five. That’s at a time when the original reality giants start to converge. “Voice and Bachelor” are already here; “Survivor” starts its season Wednesday, with “The Amazing Race” a week later. Also, “American Idol” has a half-hour sampler Sunday, starting its season a week after that.
3) “Suspicion” (1941) and “Psycho” (1960), 8 and 10 p.m. ET, Turner Classic Movies.. With the Academy Awards on Sunday, TCM continues its Oscar marathon. Here are Alfred Hitchcock classics: “Suspicion” was nominated for best picture and won for actress (Joan Fontaine); “Psycho” nominations included Hitchcock and Janet Leigh (supporting actress).
4) More movies. There are two wonderfully entertaining films – “Airplane” (1980), at 8 p.m. on Sundance and “Speed” (1994). at 9:45 on HBO. Also, “Star Trek: Section 31” (2025) is at 8:15 on Showtime. It’s beautifully filmed (especially in a chilling flashback prologue), but has a heightened feel that soon becomes repetitious.
5) ALSO: At 8 p.m., CW’s “All American” has the Beverly football team scrambling after a humbling loss. At 9, Fox’s “Rescue HI-Surf” has a search for two teens. On www.acorn.tv, “Murdoch Mysteries” has a fun hour, partly set in a weekend for Dickens buffs; “A Remarkable Place to Die” has an OK episode, leading to a better one next week.
