Best-bets for Feb. 22: awards, Asia, auditions

1) “NAACP Image Awards,” 8-10 p.m., CBS and BET. “Wicked,” which reaches Peacock on March 21, is up for best picture, alongside “Bob Marley: One Love” (shown here), “Bad Boys: Ride or Die,” “Piano Lesson” and “The Six Triple Eight.” TV comedies include “Abbott Elementary,” “Poppa’s House,” “The Neighborhood,” “The Upshaws,” and “How to Die Alone.” Read more…

2) “Saturday Night Live,” 11:29 p.m., NBC. After its mostly-terrific 50-year celebration, “SNL” pauses to rerun the Dec. 7 episode. Paul Mescal, whose “Gladiator II” is at 8 p.m. on MGM+, hosts and Shaboozey is music guest.) It will have new episodes on March 1 (Shane Gillis and Tate McRae) and March 8 (Lady Gaga doing both).

3) “Asia,” 8 p.m., BBC America. Suddenly, gifted Englishmen have natural-world films everywhere. Sunday brings the debut of the gorgeous “The Americas” on NBC. Wednesday had David Attenborough hosting a superb “Nature” on PBS. Here, he narrates this well-crafted series.

4) “My View with Lara Trump” debut, 9 p.m. ET, Fox News. The presidential daughter-in-law hosts a weekly show. Fox says “thought leaders” will discuss
“the cultural shift of common sense returning.”

5) MORE: “The Voice” reruns Monday’s auditions, from 8-10 p.m. on NBC. And there’s lots of sports, with basketball – pros on ABC (8:30 p.m. ET), college on Fox (8 p.m. ET) and cable. And at 8 p.m., there’s wrestling on TNT and a documentary about a boxer (“I Am Joe Frazier”) on CW.
