1) “Saturday Night Live” concert, 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT), Peacock. As “SNL” launches its 50-year celebration, it has this live mega-concert. It includes Lady Gaga, Bad Bunny, Bonnie Raitt (shown here), Eddie Vedder, Miley Cyrus, Post Malone, Brittany Howard, Jelly Roll, Chris Martin, Brenda Carlile The Roots, the Backstreet Boys, Arcade Fire and more.
2) Valentine’s Day films. There’s a romance marathon on Hallmark, from “A Valentine’s Match” (2020) at 11 a.m. to “Sugarplummed” (2024) at 7 p.m. Elsewhere, Freeform has the animated gem “Beauty and the Beast” (1991) at 6 p.m. and the “Aladdin” reboot (2019) at 8. And E has the sort-of adequate “Valentine’s Day” (2020) at 8 and 10 p.m.
3) “Happy’s Place,” 8 p.m., NBC. “Lopez vs, Lopez” has, fortunately, ended its 13-episode season. But “Happy’s Place” – a pleasant (if flawed) show, still has new episodes. Tonight, Isabella questions Steve’s work on the taxes; that’s followed by a rerun in which she tries to break up with her boyfriend.
4) “NCIS: Sydney,” 8 p.m., CBS. After an intense season-opener last week, the show goes in the opposite direction. The plot involves a terrorist crisis on a vintage pirate ship, at the end of the Sydney harbor. It’s sometimes fun, but only if we’re willing to overlook gaping holes in the logic.
5) “The Gorge,” Apple TV+. Miles Teller and Anya Taylor-Joy play snipers with a mysterious task. That wraps a big streaming week. Arriving Thursday were Renee Zellweger’s latest Bridget Jones film (Peacock), a Sly and the Family Stone profile (Hulu), the final “Cobra Kai” season (Netflix) and an eight-part mystery on Viaplay, “Who Shot Otto Mueller?”
