Best-bets for Jan. 27: Reruns vanish at CBS, ABC

1) “The Bachelor” opener, 8-10 p.m., ABC. Grant Ellis (shown here), who finished fifth in the recent “Bachelorette,” now gets the focus. He’s a 6-foot-5 stock trader and former basketball player (college reserve and a few Dominican Republic games). 2) “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” opener, 10 p.m., ABC. This eight-part reality show focuses on women who did “MomTok,” on TikTok. As it begins, they’re enmeshed in controversy about sexual “swinging.”

3) New episodes, 8-11 p.m., CBS. For CBS, the winter slumber is over. It’s been six weeks since the Monday shows had new episodes; now they do, starting with a “Neighborhood” dispute over pickleball noise. Others are “Poppa’s House,” “NCIS” and “NCIS: Origins.” The no-rerun burst continues all week (Saturday excluded) and beyond.

4) “50 Years of SNL Music,” 8-11 p.m., NBC. “Saturday Night Live” keep having top talent. In the past two decades, for instance, there’s been Jagger, McCartney, Springsteen and Prince; Adele, Mariah, Beyonce and Gaga; Kanye and Jay-Z; Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift. 5) “9-1-1: Lone Star,” 8 p.m., Fox. A week from the series finale, we see the firefighters – and the entire city – bracing for an asteroid’s impact. That’s followed by “Rescue: Hi-Surf”: The revived romance of Will and Em faces ta hurdle — he return of his fiance.
