1) “Only Murders in the Building” (shown here), 9-11 p.m., ABC. This wraps a great season that aired on Hulu. A clever finale assembles key suspects, played by Tina Fey (a rival podcaster), Michael Rapaport (Detective Kreps), Cara Delevingne (Alice, Mabel’s friend) and more. Also, Oliver (Martin Short) and Charles (Steve Martin) have emotional family moments.
2) “Animal Control,” 9 p.m., Fox. Emily is still grasping for a big-money donation from Fiona. Now a sexual triangle may complicate things. It’s a fairly funny episode, followed by “Going Dutch,” with the Americans obsessed with beating the Dutch at their own game, korfball.
3) “Crime Nation” season-opener, 9 p.m.. CW. Jennifer Farber grew up comfortably, graduated from Brown and produced off-off-Broadway plays. She married Fortis Dulos, forming what a friend called “this dream-looking couple.” They had five children; after his affair, she filed for divorce and disappeared. Here’s a solid overview of the case.
4) “Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage,” 9 p.m., CBS. It’s the final Thursdayt before we get new episodes and the old schedule. In good reruns, Mandy and her mom decorate the nursery, the “Ghosts” folks search for Isaac’s diary and Matlock helps a falsely accused babysitter.
5) ALSO: At 8 p.m., Fox’s “Hell’s Kitchen” is down to its final four chefs and CW’s “Police 24/7” opens its season. At 8:30, Freeform has Tim Burton’s splendid “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.” At 9, HBO has the “C.B. Strike” season-opener.
