1) “Law & Order” return, 8 p.m., NBC. After a seven-week break, NBC’s Thursday shows have new episodes. First (shown here) is a probe of why a man was pushed in front of a train. At 9, “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” has a woman shocked by a video of a night she can’t remember. At 10 on “Found,” a woman searches for her boyfriend, but outside forces are involved.

2) “Going Dutch,” 9:31 p.m., Fox. The first two episodes were so-so, but this one has a slick, smart plot. Denis Leary plays a hard-boiled colonel, relegated to a soft Army base where his estranged daughter was in command. Now he’s angrier than usual, when a CIA guy (wearing flip-flops, no less) arrives.

3) “Hollywood Squares” opener, 8 p.m., CBS. This is the hour that was scheduled for last week, then delayed. Drew Barrymore is in the center square, surrounded by comedians. The result has fun moments, but leans toward chaos and cacophony.

4) “Georgie &Mandy’s First Marriage,” 8 p.m., CBS. Georgie has spent lots of time at church, his mom’s favorite place. Now he joins one, figuring it will help him sell tires. That rerun – a fairy good one – is followed by reruns of “Ghosts” (Alberta coaches Sam for a theater audition) and “Matlock” (a woman has fierce effects from a clinical trial).

5) “Only Murders in the Building,” 9 p.m., ABC. Three episodes are stuffed into a two-hour spot. First, the three podcasters battle with a key competitor (Tina Fey). Then Mabel is in a scary amusement park. And then a blackout leads to crises. That sets up next week’s finale of this terrific second season, which originally aired on Hulu.
