2) “9-1-1: Lone Star,” 8 p.m., Fox. Next week this starts its farewell, airing its final episodes on three Mondays. First here’s a rerun: A train derailment unleashes a toxic cloud. Also, Owen (Rob Lowe) chooses his lieutenant.

3) “Doc,” 9:02 p.m., Fox. Yes, Fox is repeating itself. This series debut aired Tuesday and Sunday and is back today. We’ll excuse that, because it may be the season’s best new show on a broadcast network. Molly Parker is perfect as a surgeon who lost eight years of memories (personal and medical) after a crash. The second episode (9 p.m. Tuesday) is also terrific.

4) “Deal or No Deal Island,” 8 p.m.,, NBC. Here’s a quick rerun of the show’s two-hour opener. (It’s followed at 10 by a “Law & Order” rerun, with a dinner party broken up by a home invasion.) On Tuesday, “Deal” moves to its regular spot, a 9 p.m. hour after comedies.

5) “Death by Fame” season-opener, 9 p.m., Investigation Discovery. This series looks at people who were killed after becoming famous. It’s definition of fame, however, is a bit loose. At 18, Adriana Pinon was hired as an extra on “The Young and the Restless.” A teen, whom she had reportedly rejected, was convicted of shooting her in her family’s home.Best-bets for
