1) “Brilliant Minds,” 10 p.m. today, NBC; after reruns at 8 and 9. The previous episode had fierce moments and introduced a key character, played by Mandy Patinkin. (It reruns at 9, so we won’t mention the details.) Now come aftershocks for Erica and a huge jolt for Dr. Wolf. It’s an involving hour, including a bizarre case (shown here) based on one from real life.
2) “Will Trent,” 8-11 p.m., ABC. Before this starts its third season (8 p.m. Tuesday), here are reruns of the last three episodes from the second one. The first hour is full of flashbacks to Will’s painful past; the second includes a trip to Puerto Rico, the native land of Ramon Rodriguez, who stars.
3) “Rescue HI-Surf,” 9 p.m., Fox. New episodes are two weeks away; first, here’s a rerun with a strong impact on Em: Sonny has a recommendation for his replacement; also, she’s tempted to rekindle a romance with Will … who’s getting married soon. Also, there’s a rescue of downed para-gliders.
4) “Antiques Roadshow” season-opener, 8 p.m., PBS. The season starts at the Crystal Bridge museum in Arkansas, where the findings include a 1926 baseball trophy for Rogers Hornsby and some Homer Winslow watercolors from the 1870s. That’s followed by a rerun and then an “Independent Lens,” viewing the art-world impact of NFT techno-tokens.
5) ALSO: At 8 p.m. on Fox, “TMZ Investigates” looks at Luigi Mangione, the alleged killer of a health-insurance CEO. On pay-cable, Showtime has a new “Dexter: Original Sin” at 9; HBO has strong work from Julia Roberts in “Mystic Pizza” (1988) at 7:13 p.m. and “Eat, Pray, Love” (2010) at 9.
