2) “What We Do in the Shadows,” 10 p.m. FX. After years as the ignored assistant to a vampire, Guillermo found fresh optimism as a junior analyst for a seedy firm. Now he’s told to bring friends to an office party. Alas, at the last event they attended they showed poor manners, including decapitation. The result is sometimes messy, sometimes funny, then pivotal.

3) “Dalgliesh,” www.acorn.tv. The second of this season’s three movie-length stories sends Commander Adam Dalgliesh to the home of a politician who is wealthy and dying. His housemaid has been killed and the suspect list keeps growing. It’s a smart and complex tale, ending with deep waves of emotion.

4) “The Real Full Monty,” 8-10 p.m., Fox. Six guys – Anthony Anderson, James Van Der Beek, Taye Diggs, Tyler Posey, Chris Jones and Bruno Tonioli – prepare to dance nude in front of an audience. The reality event aims to encourage men to check for prostate, testicular and colorectal cancer.

5) “Best Christmas Movies Ever,” 8-10 p.m., CW. Filmmakers, stars, critics and others offer their views. There are the general choices (“Santa Clause,” “Elf,” “Christmas Vacation,” “It’s a Wonderful Life,” etc.), tales that have different versions (“Grinch,” “Miracle on 34th Street”) and ones (“Home Alone,” “Die Hard,” etc.) that are Christmas-adjacent.
