2) Football. It’s conference-championship weekend, with seven games on Saturday. As a warm-up, here are three more. At 7 p.m. ET, Conference USA has Western Kentucky and Jacksonville State on the CBS Sports Network. At 8, it’s Mountain West (Boise State and University of Nevada, Las Vegas) on Fox and American Athletic Conference (Tulane-Army) on ABC.

3) Christmas flurry. “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” is 8-9:15 p.m. on NBC. Netflix views the holiday from both sides, light (“A Nonsense Christmas with Sabrina Carpenter”) and serious (“Mary,” with Herod’s men pursuing Mary, Joseph and their baby). Other new movies are on AMC+ and at 8 p.m. on Hallmark.

4) “Happy’s Place,” 9:15 p.m., NBC. Steve Howey – who was the son-in-law on “Reba” – visits Reba McEnire’s new show. Gabby has lied to him about who owns the bar; then two more lies are tossed in, just to keep the plot going. It’s moderately amusing, then sort of ties together at the end.

5) “Lopez vs. Lopez,” 9:45 p.m., NBC. At Christmastime, George fights with Santa (twice) and his son-in-law lies about a neighborhood tradition. Most people shout their lines like kids in a holiday pageant; these lines don’t deserve anything better.
