1) “Holiday Spectacular,” 8-10 p.m., ABC. The next few weeks will have plenty of specials, bubbling with bright colors and Christmas music, That starts from Disneyland and Disney World. 2) “25 Days of Christmas” begins, Freeform. It’s the 29th year for a marathon of holiday shows. This year, it starts with animation – “Prep & Landing,” 7 a.m.; Mickey Mouse compilations, 7:30 and 9; Marah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas is You,” 10:30; “Arthur Christmas,” 12:30. Movies follow, including “Home Alone” at 6:45.
3) More Christmas movies. There are plenty of new ones to choose from. That includest 6 and 8 p.m. on Hallmark, 7 p.m. on CW, 7 p.m. ET on UpTV, 8 p.m. on Lifetime and 8 p.m. ET on Great American Family.
4) Comedy. “America’s Funniest Home Videos” has a compilation of holiday mishaps, at 7 p.m. on ABC. At 9, CW reruns “Penn & Teller: Merry Fool Us.” And there are new cartoon episodes on Fox, starting at 8 with “The Simpsons” and Homer being scapegoated for a Thanksgiving blackout.
5) ALSO: Yes, there are still serious dramas. CBS has “Tracker” at 8 p.m. and “Equalizer” at 9. The Paramount Network has “Yellowstone” at 8 p.m. and “The Agency,” a new spy series, at 9:06. And BYUtv reruns “The Chosen” episodes at 1 p.m., 4 p.m. and midnight ET on the next four Sundays.
