1) “The Simpsons” (shown here), 8 p.m., Fox. In the style of Ray Bradbury’s “Illustrated Man,” Lisa meets a guy whose tattoos pull her into separate stories. The first two are pretty good; the third is truly remarkable: It offers a world where people obsess on “quality TV,” with dark theme and long, tangled stories.
2) “Tsunami: Race Against Time,” 9 and 10 p.m, National Geographic, concluding Monday. On Christmas Eve of 2004, a massive earthquake off the coast of Indonesia sent 100-foot waves. The largest tsunami disaster in history killed an estimated 228,000 people in 14 countries. This documentary offers news footage and memories.
3) “Moana” (2016), 8:33 p.m., ABC. Three days before its sequel reaches theaters, here’s another chance to see this delight. It faces another popular cartoon, “Shrek 2” (2004), at 7 p.m. on CW. Also, ABC doubles “America’s Funniest Home Videos,” at 7 p.m. and from 8 to 8:33.
4) “The Saints,” Fox Nation. Last week, this series – produced and narrated by Martin Scorsese – opened with Joan of Arc. Now it goes 14 centuries further back, profiling the man who became John the Baptist … then was decapitated at the request of the dancer Salome.
5) MORE: It’s a strong drama night on CBS (“Tracker” and “Equalizer,” at 8 and 9 p.m.) and on the Paramount Network (“Yellowstone” and “Landman,” at 8 and 9:16). Also, there are season-finales of “From” (9 p.m., MGM+) and “The Franchise” (10:05). And BET has the brilliant “Knives Out” at 8.
