1) “Tracker,” 8:30 p.m., CBS, Sofia Pernas is back as Billie – the former lover and current nemesis of Colter (played by her husband, Jason Hartley; they’re shown here). They link to search for a baseball star. Pernas moved to the U.S. from Morocco at 5. She met Hartley on “The Young and the Restless” and starred for two summers in CBS’ “Blood & Treasure.”
2) “The Marlow Murder Club” debut, 9 p.m. PBS. TV savors shows that have regular folks solve crimes that baffle the police. The first two weeks of this four-week series are a delight, as Englishwomen wedge into a case. The other two weeks are merely OK, but it’s still a fun ride.
3) More dramas, PBS. At 8 p.m. is the first half of the season’s final “Ridley.” a good one. At 10 is the start of “Wolf Hall” reruns. The six-episode tale drew eight Emmy nominations, including best mini-series and actors – Damian Lewis and Mark Rylance, as King Henry the VIII and his advisor.
4) “The Simpsons,” 8 p.m., Fox. In many years, this would be the delightful “Treehouse of Horror” episode. This time, however, there was an outside chance the World Series would start early, setting up a game today. It didn’t, but Fox played it safe: A regular episode – probing a long-ago mystery – is today, with “Treehouse” next week.
5) ALSO: For light scares, there are two movies – “Goosebumps” (2015) at 7 p.m. on CW and “Hocus Pocus 2” (2023), at 8 on ABC. And for serious scares. AMC has “The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon” at 9, rerunning at 10:24, setting up next week’s finale. After this, you’ll never want to be in a car that’s surrounded by zombies.
