1) “NCIS,” 9 p.m., CBS. Three days before a prequel debuts, here’s the final episode (shown here) with Mark Harmon as Gibbs. That was in October of 2021, when he headed to Alaska. We’ll get a partial glimpse of him in the excellent “NCIS: Origins” opener, from 9-11 p.m. Monday. After that, he’s strictly the narrator.
2) “Latinos in Hollywood,” 8 p.m., ABC; and “American Historia,” 9 p.m., PBS. First is a look at what’s been called the most underrepresented minority in show business. Interviewees range from Rita Moreno, 92, to Xochita Gomez, 18 and a Marvel movie star. John Leguizamo is in this one, then concludes “Historia,” viewing the rise of Latino protest and impact.
3) “Live at the Kennedy Center,” 10 p.m., PBS. After two serious hours of Latino history, it’s time to settle back for Spanish-language singers. Snarky Puppy, a Texas jazz band, has assembled great ones — Silvana Estrada, Gaby Moreno, Silvia Perez Cruz and Fuensanta. This hour has too much talk, but lots of rousing-good music.
4) “Big Brother,” 8 p.m., CBS. Here’s an extra episode, setting up the finale, from 9-11 p.m. Sunday. Also, at 10 p.m. today, “Fire Country” reruns its season-finale (Gabriela’s wedding day), a week before its season-opener.
5) MORE: At 8 p.m., NBC reruns Tuesday’s “The Irrational” season-opener. It’s a good one (albeit sometimes exaggerated), with Rose (Alec’s love interest) kidnapped. And at 10, FX has the fourth part of the five-week “Social Studies” documentary. This one views how pornography and social media give teens a different sort of sex education.
