www(Here are the five TV best-bets for Wednesday, Sept. 25; feel free to use in any form – all or some, print and/or web)

1) “Chicago P.D.” season-opener, 10 p.m., NBC. Easily the best of the three Chicago shows, this is also the most intense. Now Voight (shown here) is angrier than ever. 2) “The Masked Singer” season-opener, 8 p.m., Fox. Lately, Rita Ora has shown how to deliver high-voltage songs. She did it as the evil queen in the latest “Descendants” musical and now she does the opening number here. It’s a great start; then she joins other panelists, fawning over every contestant, one of whom really doesn’t deserve it.

3) “Chicago Med” season-opener, 8 p.m., NBC. The season starts with a crescendo: After a boat crash, everyone’s busy: The psychiatrist becomes an emergency-room doctor; the adminstrator becomes a nurse. We soon meet two newcomers: One (Sarah Ramos) will take a while, but the other (Darren Barnett) quickly charms doctors and viewers.

4) “Chicago Fire” season-opener, 9 p.m., NBC. This remains the weakest of the Chicago shows. The crises themselves are impressive – first a warehouse explosion, then a car crash leading to big moments for the young EMT’s. The rest involves so-so character drama, much of it centering on the new chief.

5) MORE: At 8 p.m., CW’s “Sullivan’s Crossing” reruns its first-season finale, with key moments for Maggie’s troubled dad; the second season starts next week. At 9, Fox’s “The Floor” starts its season, with Rob Lowe hosting. And at 9:30, after “Survivor,” CBS has a 90-minute “Big Brother.”
