1) “America’s Got Talent,” 8 p.m., NBC. Now we learn the rest of the field for next week’s finale. Twelve acts performed Wednesday (one day later than usual) and viewers voted. Half will advance, along with the “golden buzzer” winners – singer Dee Dee Simon and aerialist, acrobatic and (shown here) “air dance” groups.
2) “The Old Man” season-opener, 10 p.m., FX, rerunning at 12:14 a.m. Colleagues long ago and enemies lately, Dan and Harold are in Afghanistan, trying to rescue Emily. It’s a strong, gritty episode; another follows (11:07 and 1:21), with Emily learning who is her biological father.
3) “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” (2023), 6:30-10 p.m., FX. Here’s a terrific film, with sharp dialog and great action. Harrison Ford, now 82, remains heroic. FX also jumps back 47 years, to show him in the original “Star Wars” films, at 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 and 3:30 p.m.
4) “Young Sheldon,” 9 p.m., CBS. After pausing for some earlier episodes, this is now ready to rerun the final three, which were among the show’s best. This one starts brightly – Sheldon’s dad has a promising job offer – and ends with a devastating jolt.
5) “Mr. Throwback,” 9 p.m., NBC. This reruns the start of a six-part series that debuted on Peacock. Adam Pally plays a former basketball phenom, who is in debt. He turns to his childhood friend – basketball star Stephen Curry, playing himself.
