1) “MasterChef” return, 8 and 9 p.m,. Fox. After a three-week break, the show doubles up episodes. First (shown here), people make birthday cakes; then they’re in teams, with ingredients for each generation. So far, “Gen X” has lost two chefs and “Millennials” lost one; others are intact.
2) “Bad Monkey” debut, Apple TV+. Suspended from his police job, Yancy (Vince Vaughn) wants to sit at his Florida cottage and fume. Soon, however, he’s involved with scheming developers, a gorgeous coroner and a stray arm. With Bill Lawrence (“Scrubs”) adapting a Carl Hiaasen novel, we get a 10-episode romp.
3) “The Real CSI Miami,” 9 p.m., CBS. Here’s a real case that has the dark twists of Florida fiction. Misty Morse, 22, was bubbly and upbeat, but had bad romances. When her body was found in a lagoon, police had several suspects – then noted the dog hairs on her bindings.
4) “Celebrity Who Wants To Be a Millionaire,” 8 p.m., ABC. Ike Barinholtz, already a “Celebrity Jeopardy” champion, shows up with his dad, an actor who was the judge on “Jury Duty.” The other segment has Zach Braff (who joins “Bad Monkey” in the third episode) paired with his “Scrubs” colleague, Donald Faison.
5) “The Graduate” (1967), 8 p.m. ET, Turner Classic Movies. Brilliantly directed by Mike Nichols and perfectly played by Dustin Hoffman, an OK story became a great film. It leads a movie night that ranges from light fun (“Free Guy,” 8 p.m., FX) to Martin Scorsese’s “Goodfellas” and “Casino,” at 7 and 10 p.m. on AMC.
