Best-bets for July 16: Judge Steve and Judge, Aaron

1) ”Judge Steve Harvey” return, 9 p.m , ABC.Tuesdays become Harvey’s night. At 8 p.m., he hosts “Celebrity Family Feud” (shown here in a previous episode); one round pits singers (Meghan Trainor vs. Tori Kelly), the other has alumni of “Bachelor” shows. 2) All-Star Game, 8 p.m. ET Tuesday, Fox, with pre-game show at 7. Baseball’s best will gather in Texas. The American League has the Major-League leaders in home runs (Aaron Judge) and batting average (Steven Kwan). The National League has former American League star Shohei Ohani, plus lots of Philadelphia Phillies..

3) Republican convention. It’s the second of four days, PBS will be there from 8-11 p.m, Joining at 10 will be CBS, ABC and (in a late change) NBC The cable channels, of course, will buzz about it all day..

4) “I Am JFK Jr..” (2016), 8-10 p.m., CW. Alongside all those Republicans, here’s a profile of a famous Democrat who was encased in tragedy. He was 3 when his father was killed, 38 when he died in a crash, while piloting a plane to his cousin’s wedding. In between, he was an assistant distrct attorney, a magazine fonder and a vibrant New York figure.

5) ALSO: “America’s Got Talent” auditions continues today (8-10 p.m., NBC) and next Tuesday, before taking an Olympic break. And HBO has “Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King” (2003), Epic in scale and masterful in execution, it won 11 Academy Awards, including best picture.
