1) “Saturday Night Live” alumni. They’re everywhere. Maya Rudolph hosts an “SNL” rerun (11:29 p.m., NBC), with others in movies: Eddie Murphy’s “Coming 2 America” (2021, shown here) is 8 p.m. on BET. Bill Murray has “Stripes” (1981) at 7 p.m. on IFC and “Ghostbusters” films at 2, 4:30, 7 and 9:30 on E. Chevy Chase’s “Vacation” is 6 p.m. on Sundance, plus sequels.
2) Olympic trials, NBC and Peacock. It’s the final weekend of a 16-day marathon to choose the U.S. team. In track and field, that’s 8-10 p.m. today, wrapping up 7:30-8 p.m. Sunday. In gymnastics, the men’s finals are 3 p.m. today, the women 8 p.m. Sunday.. Also, CNBC has paralympic swimming at 6 p.m. today and 1 p.,m. Sunday.
3) “The Killer Inside: The Ruth Finley Story,: 8-10 p.m., Lifetime. Teri Hatcher plays Finley, who survived a kidnapping at 16 and faced threats, 30 years later. Police found a bizarre explanation. Another true-crime tale, “Devil on Campus,” reruns at 6 p.m.,; it views Larry Ray, who manipulated his daughter’s Sarah Lawrence classmates.
4) “Coming Home” (1978)m 8 p.m. ET, Turner Classic Movies. Jon Voight and Jane Fonda give terrific, Oscar-winning performances as a paraplegic veteran and the woman (an officer’s wife) who loves him. There was also an Oscar for the script and a nomination for best picture.
5) ALSO: Reruns at 8 p.m. include CBS’ “FBI International” (in Romania, a mercenary claims to be fighting child trafficking) and CW’s “The Conners”: In four episodes from 2022. Becky accidentally outs her relationship with her teacher and Darlene tackles an overwhelming project.
