1) “MasterChef: Generations,” 8 p.m., Fox.. Didn’t the baby-boomers start the youthquake? Aren’t they rockers and flower children? Somehow, they’ve aged. It’s their turn to audtion and, one guy says, to “show what the old folks can do.” Joe Bastianich even adds his mom Lidia, 77, as guest judge. (They’re show here with a contestant.) She’s an acclaimed food expert who will get an honorary Daytime Emmy on Friday.
2) “Sight Unseen” finale, 9 p.m., CW. After going blind, Tess has continued solving crimes in Vancouver, aided (3,000 miles away, in New York) by Sunny, who views a body-cam and talks into her earpiece. Now Tess faces a key mystery – a previous attack that has left Sunny unwilling to leave her apartment. That follows a new “Walker” at 8; next week, “Wild Cards” reruns are at 9.
3) “Tracker,” 10 p.m., CBS. This reruns the episode – a good one – that paired Justin Hartley with his wife, Sofia Pernas. She plays Colter’s ex-lover and current nemeisis, reluctantly working with him to find a racehorse. Pernas – who is Moroccan, with Cuban roots – previously starred in the two seasons of “Blood & Treasure.”
4) “Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars,” 9 p.m., Fox. Last week’s challenge didn’t test style, subtlety or salesmanship: A big crowd was so eager that the only goal was to crank out the food quickly. Now comes something more precise: Create a cocktail bar that will be judged strictly on customer feedback.
5) Movies: Three of the all-time great directors have films tonight. Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland” (2010), 5:30 p.m. on Freeform, is stylish but somewhat disappointing; a sequel, which he didn’t direct, is at 8. John Ford’s “Stagecoach” (1939), 8 p.m. ET on Turner Classic Movies, is an epic western. Steven Spielberg’s “Ready Player One” (2018), 7 p.m., Syfy, is a superb youth adventure.
