1) “The Good Doctor” series-finale, 10 p.m., ABC. For seven years, Freddie Highmore (shown here) has built a subtly moving portrait of Shaun, an autistic doctor with a brilliant mind, troubled past and good soul. He’s become a husband, father and respected surgeon. Now he and the others face one of their toughest cases, while pondering their futures.
2) “Will Trent” and “The Rookie” season-finales, 8 and 9 p.m., ABC. These shows will be back next season – but not right away. With “Dancing With the Stars” returning, they’re pushed back to mid-season. On “Will Trent” today, the murder of sex offenders seem similar; on “The Rookie,” Sgt. Grey prepares the team for its biggest case.
3) “The Voice” finale, 8-11 p.m., NBC. The first hour is a recap of Monday’s performances. Then the show will have its 25th winner – after a lot more music — Jelly Roll, Thomas Rhett, The Black Keys, Lainey Wilson, Muni Long, actress Kate Hudson (who has a debut album) and Gina Miles, the Season 23 winner.
4) MORE FINALES: All three of the “FBI” shows (8-11 p.m., CBS) wrap their seasons. So does “The Cleaning Lady,” from 8-10 p.m. on Fox. The CBS shows will be back in the fall; the Fox one, however, will wait until mid-season.
5) ALSO: “Murderesses” debuts on Viaplay, a channel of subtitled shows, often “Nordic noir.” This one isn’t Nordic (it starts in Poland), but it’s definitely noir — dark and intense. A young cop wrestles with rage, searches for her father and probes a case she’s not really assigned to. Also tonight, HBO has the terrific “A Star is Born: (2018) at 6:41 p.m. and continues its Stax records profile at 9 and 10.
