2) “MasterChef Junior” finale, 8 p.m., Fox. Here are three amazing young chefs; Remy Powell is 10; Bryson McGlynn and Michael Seegobin are 11. Last week, they did the appetizers; now come the entrees and deserts. The constant praise from judges becomes monotonous and tiresome and, well, probably justified.

3) “So You Think You Can Dance” finale, 9 p.m. today, Fox. Madison Alvarado, 21, is the lone dancer who has never been one of the people in the bottom, doing a solo to decide who’s eliminated. Last week, when everyone had a solo, she dazzled the judges with a jazz-funk piece. Now comes the finale, with Dakayla Wilson and Anthony Curley, both 18, and Alvarado.

4) Non-fiction, 10 p.m., CBS has an expanded version of Norah O’Donnell’s “60 Minutes” interview with Pope Francis, 87. And PBS has “The Tuba Thieves”. For two years, tubas disappeared from Southern California schools. With that as a starting point, Alison O’Daniel (who is hard-of-hearing) spent 11 years on a film that explores souund.

5) ALSO: BBC America is stacking light mysteries on Mondays, Last week, it had two episodes of Jane Seymour’s “Harry Wild.” Now a new one (a bit too broad) is at 9 p.m., followed by reruns of Lucy Lawless’ “My Life is Murder” (quite enjoyable) at 10:06 and 11:06. Both are also at www.acorn.tv. Lawless’ show starts new hours on June 17.
