1) “Young Sheldon” series-finale (shown here), 8 and 8:30 p.m., CBS. This is one of the best hours of the season, or of any season. It manages the rare feat of being funny and subtly moving. Propelling it is the death, a week ago, of Sheldon’s father. The reactions vary widely, bur perfectly fit each wonderfully complex character. As a bonus, the second half-hour peeks at the nowadays Sheldon and Amy.
2) “So Help Me Todd,” 9 p.m., CBS. This is another series-finale, but with a difference: “Sheldon” is leaving voluntarily; “Todd” has been canceled. From the start, it has tried to find the delicate touch of a light mystery – something that “Elsbeth” (10 p.m.) does beautifully and “Todd” does occasionally. Tonight, Todd hopes to solve the one case that might save his mom’s law-firm.
3) “Law & Order,” “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” and “Law & Order: Organized Crime,” 8-11 p.m., NBC. For these shows, it’s merely the seas on-finale; they’ll be back in the fall – two on NBC and “Organized Crime” on Peacock. At 8 p.m., a sports star has bee killed, but might not have been the target. At 9, Carisi is urged to move a case along, to ease fears. At 10, it’s time to raid the warehouse.
4) “Grey’s Anatomy,” 9 p.m., ABC. While other shows wrap up, this one still has three episodes in its 20th season, Tonight, Owen and Teddy have a day off … but come across an injured person. The show has new episodes through May 30; so do “9-1-1” (8 p.m.), plus “Station 19,” which won’t be back next season.
5) “I Can See Your Voice” season-opener, 8 p.m., Fox. Soon, our TV’s will be stuffed with lower-budget summer shows. Here’s the first arrival, with Ken Jeong hosting and contestants guessing which people are real singers. A “Farmer Wants a Wife” reunion follows at 9:02.
