1) So You Think You Can Dance,” 9:02 p.m., Fox. This starts with a four-person routine that makes one thing clear: These are remarkably gifted dancers, working with great choreographers. (They’re shown here in a previous week.) One dancer faces sharp pain, but all four – Madison Alvarado, 21; Dakayla Wilson, 19; Anthony Curley and Easton Magliarditi, 18 – dance brilliantly. Three advance to next week’s finale.
2) “MasterChef Junior,” 8 p.m., Fox. In a finale that concludes next week, the kids create elegant, three-course dinners. All three finalists — Remy Powell, 10, Michael Seegobin and Bryson McGlynn, 11 – are amazing, but the cascade of praise soon gets monotonous. We almost wish for a return of the foul version of Gordon Ramsay, or for a visit by Simon Cowell. Almost.
3) “Young Sheldon,” 8 and 8:30 p.m., CBS. On Thursday, this great series ends s seven-year run. First, we get two reruns – the pilot (especially poignant after last week’s episode, with the death of Sheldon’s dad) and one with Sheldon seeking a friend.
4) “The Voice.” 8-10 p.m., NBC. The judges with country-music roots are doing well. Reba McEntire and newcomers Dan + Shay have three semi-finalists; John Legend has two and Chance the Rapper has one. Now all nine perform (followed, at 10 p.m., by the “Deal or No Deal Island” finale). On Tuesday, the top four “Voice” vote-getters advance to next week’s finale, joined by one instant save.
5) “Harry Wild” season-opener, 9 and 10 p.m., BBC America. Here’s good news in the shrinking cable world. This channel will air some shows on the day they start streaming on www.acorn.tv. Be patient with this one, which has Jane Seymour solving crimes. Tonight’s opener tries too hard, straining credibility. The second hour is much better … as is “My Life is Murder,” which arrives next Monday.
