1) “The Masked Singer,” 8 p.m., Fox. This may be your only chance to see Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke do a Spice Girls song. The theme is “girl groups,” so they’ll open the show singing “Wannabe” with fellow judges Rita Ora and Jenny McCarthy (they’re all shown here). Later, past contestants Carnie Wilson and Raven-Symone will also perform; current ones will do such songs as “I’m So Excited.”
2) “Changing Planet Coral Special,” 8 p.m., PBS. For Maldives a sprawling island nation near Sri Lanka, the coral reefs are vital. Scientists from two countries and two disciplines try steps that could work globally. It’s an optimistic hour, coming two days after Discovery and the National Geographic Channel had Earth Day specials on reefs.
3) “Chucky,” 10 p.m., Syfy and USA. After a long stretch of merely voicing Chucky and his killer-doll girlfriend Tiffany, Brad Dourif and Jennifer Tilly are at the core. He plays the ghost of serial-killer Charles E. Ray; she plays herself, now inhabited by Tiffany and on Death Row. Fiona Dourif (Brad’s daughter) even returns as the paraplegic Nica, in a wild and pivotal episode.
4) “Not Dead Yet” and “The $100,000 Pyramid,” 8:30 and 9:32 p.m., ABC. It’s a double night for Lauren Ash. In a new “Not Dead,” her dad is trying to sell the newspaper; her sometimes-friend Nell tries to rally opposition. On a “Pyramid” rerun, she goes against her old “Superstore” colleague, Nico Santos.” Other reruns follow with Jordin Sparks vs. Jason Ritter and Nikki Glaser vs. Wayne Knight.
5) “Guiding Emily” (2023), 9 p.m., Hallmark. Sarah Drew gives an Emmy-worthy performance, in a subtly moving film about a young woman who is going blind. Drew also co-stars in “One Summer” (2021), at 7. Also, at 8 p.m. ET, Turner Classic Movies has “Apocalypse Now Redux,” Francis Coppola’s 2001 re-editing of his 1979 classic.
