1) Figure Skating, 3 p.m., USA Network, and 8 p.m., NBC. It’s the last competition day for the world championship. That has the pairs in the afternoon, men at night … and a clear change. NBC has always highlighted the women, but this time the top American contender is a guy, Ilia Malinin (shown here). The women’s finals were Friday, on cable.
2) Basketball. Over the next two days, the NCAA tournament will trim down to ts sweet 16. Today, CBS has half the games – noon, 2:30, 5 and 7:30 p.m. ET; the others are on TNT (6 and 8:30) and TBS (7 and 9:30). There’s also hockey, with the Rangers hosting the Panthers, at 8 p.m. on ABC.
3) “Saturday Night Live,” 11:29 p.m., NBC. For Ayo Edebiri, 28, this has been a huge year. Her work in “The Bear” brought a supporting actress award in the Emmys and best-actress awards from the Golden Globes, Critics Choice and Screen Actors Guild. And she hosted “SNL,” with Jennifer Lopez as music guest; here’s a rerun.
4) “Freddie Mercury: The Final Act,” 8-10 p.m., CW. Farrokh Bulsara was about 18 when he moved with his family from Zanzibar to England. Seven years later, as Freddie Mercury, he was Queen’s lead singer, the driving voice behind “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “We Will Rock You” and more. This documentary views his final years, including the mega-concert after his death from AIDS at 45.
5) “MasterChef Junior” and “The Masked Singer,” 8 and 9 p.m., Fox. Here are reruns of the season-openers. First, kids must make dishes based on emoji cookies. Then Rita Ora joins “Masked Singer” (Nicole Scherzinger is doing a musical in London) and performs.
