1) “The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin” opener, Apple TV+. The real Turpin grew up as a butcher, then became a poacher, horse thief and highway robber; later, he was elevated by fiction and myth. Now we get a fresh take, rippling with odd fun in the Monty Python/Rowan Atkiinson style. This wonderfully self-centered Turpin (left, in disguise) stirs lots of laughs, some of them just silly.
2) “SWAT,” 8 pm., CBS. Fresh from its two-part Mexican adventure, the team has a bigger problem back home: Yakuza assassins arrive, targeting some people who moved from Japan to the U.S. Also, Nichelle is accused of taking a bribe.
3) “Fire Country,” 9 p.m., CBS. As a wildfiire blazes, a family refuses to evacuate, leaving Jake with a painful decision. That’s followed by a new “Blue Bloods,” on a night when CBS has the only scripted shows.
4) “CMT Campfire Sessions” season-finale, 10 p.m., CMT. Several of this season’s performers return to trade off such country classics as “Midnight Rider,” “Here’s a Quarter” and “Cowboy Take Me Away.” The night includes Dariius Rucker, Priscilla Block and the former Christian rock band Needtobreathe.
5) Movies. Marriage can be complicated at a distance. In Netflix’s “Spaceman,” Carey Mulligan is on Earth and Adam Sandler is on a six-month space mission, taking advice from a creature who may be imaginary. Also, at 6:45 p.m., TNT has “Dune” (2021), on the day “Dune: Part Two” reaches theaters. At 7:15, Showtime has “Golda” (2023), a drab film, despite great work from Helen Mirren.
