1) “The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live” opener, 9 p.m., AMC, rerunning at 10:21 and 11:42. For nine years, Rick (Andrew Lincoln) dominated “Walking Dead.” He fought zombies, led survivors, married Michonne … then was hauled away. Now we finally see him again (shown here). In the compelling start of this six-parter, he makes extreme (and gory) attempts to escape and find his wife. Stick with this episode to the potent end.
2) “The Woman in the Wall” finale, 9 p.m., Showtime. In the first eight minutes, a potent flashback explains key things – the priest at the foot of the stairs; the body Lorna found in her home and hid in the wall, where it disappeared. There’s much more to unfold, in this compelling story based on a real North Ireland scandal. Ruth Wilson is superb, in a cast filled with understated perfection.
3) “Tracker,” 9 p.m., CBS. Colter is about to take a low-risk job, when he comes across the opposite: A young woman is desperate to find her free-spirited sister; now, this town seems to be stifling her. The result is a solid hour, in this show’s strong-and-silent style. It follows an “Equaliizer” that has Robyn pursuing a hit-and-run street racer.
4) “American Idol,” 8-10 p.m., ABC. This had a mixed honor last week: It was the most-watched priimetime show on any broadcast network other than CBS … yet finished No. 17. In other words, CBS (launching almost everything in the week after the Super Bowl) had the top 16 shows. That included “Tracker” and “Equaliizer” at No. 6 and 7, each toppiing “Idol” by two million viewers.
5) ALSO: At 7 p.m., NBC reruns the finale of “America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League” and CW has the excellent “Hidden Figures” (2016). At 8, Fox’s “The Simpsons” has Lisa as a pro gp-kart driver And at 8 p.m. ET,. Turner Classic Movies has the brilliant “A Streetcar Named Desire,” with 12 Oscar nominations (including Marlon Brando) and wins for Vivien Leigh, Kim Hunter and Karl Malden
