1) “The Irrational” return, 10 p.m., NBC. This was one of the few scripted shows that helped rescue us from an all-rerun autumn. It had nine new episodes, were filmed before the strikes; now it returns for the season’s final four. Alec (Jesse Martin, shown here), the survivor of a church bombing, tries to help a boy who is a burn victim.
2) “Yellowstone,” 9 and 10 p.m., CBS. After running a few zillion times on cable and Peacock, this moved its reruns to CBS and drew solid ratings. Now the third season concludes. (There have been four-and-a-half so far, with the final half-season delayed until November.) Jamie meets his biological father, Beth gets a jolt, John negotiates … and then there’s an explosive finale, literally.
3) “America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League,” 8-10 p.m., NBC. Tonight and next Monday, acts will reach the finals. Competing today are three singers, a comedian, a magician, an aerialist and a pole dancer, plus an acrobat duo, a dance group and a drumline.
4) “TMZ Investigates,” 9 p.m., Fox. Dominique Dunne was an appealing actress. She played a young genius in TV’s “Paper Chase,” a teen daughter in “Poltergeist” and more. She was the daughter and niece of writers (Dominick Dunne, John Griffin Dunne, Joan Didion), the sister of actor Griffin Dunne. She was choked to death at 22, but her ex-boyfriend spent less than four years in prison; here’s a fresh luck.
5) MORE: For another true-crime story, there’s “Bad Romance.” That’s 10 p.m. on ABC, following “The Bachelor.” For a lighter approach, go with CW: At 8 p.m., it has the second episode of “Ride,” the Hallmark Channel’s rodeo-family series. At 9, it reruns a fun “Wild Cards” episode that starts with a porch-pirate case, then spirals.
