1) “The Bachelor” opener, 8-10 p.m., ABC. After being runner-up on “Bachelorette.” Joey Graziadei is now in charge. He’s 28 and teaches tennis; he’ll meet four women in their early 30s and 28 in their twenties. There are three nurses, a mental-health therapist and a mental-health counselor. There’s also an actress, an artist, an “esthetician,” a nanny (Evalin, shown here) and a pro-football cheerleader.
2) “Independent Lens,” 10 p.m., PBS. Many Black neighborhoods have been walled off from white ones via a highway, a river or simply a wall. But in Palm Springs, Ca., it was a giant row of tamarack trees. One side argues that the trees were there first, to block golf balls; the other points to a history of forcible segregation, in what is now a liberal area. The result is intriguing and thought-provoking.
3) “America’s Most Wanted” season-opener, 8 p.m., Fox. As a ragged young network, Fox caused a stir with John Walsh – who lost a son to kidnapping — profiling crime suspects. The show ran for 24 years on Fox and Walsh did 11 more (often under different titles) on cable. Fox also tried five episodes in 2021 with another host; now Walsh, 78, is back, joined by his son Callahan, 38.
4) “Bob (Hearts) Abishola” return, 8:30 p.m. today, CBS. This has evolved into one of TV’s best comedies, filled with great characters. But it’s been absent for months and its new season (starting Feb. 12) will be its last. First, we get a few reruns, starting here with Bob’s sister fired by a competing sock company.
5) ALSO: Two more shows debut: At 9 p.m., Fox’s “TMZ Investigates” views celebrity stalkers. At 10, ABC views love gone wrong, launching the eight-week “Bad Romance.” Also, CBS finally returns “The Neighborhood” reruns at 8 p.m.; at 9 and 10, it has “Yellowstone” reruns that were bumped from Sunday by football.
