1) “Law & Order” season-opener, 8- p.m., NBC. Dick Wolf’s dramas seem to go on forever … and are bouncing back quickly from the strikes. This one starts its 23rd season, with Reid Scott (shown here, left) replacing Jeffrey Donovan as one of thre cops. Tonight, an on-campus murder sparks a debate about hate speech.
2) More “L&O,” 9 and 10 p.m., NBC. As “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” starts its 25th season, the team celebrates the Rollins-and-Carisi baby; then learns about a missing child. That’s followed by the fourth-season opener of “Law & Order: Organized Crime”: Returning from underrcover work, Stabler finds big changes at home and at work.
3) “Young Sheldon,” 8 p.m., CBS. This reruns a pivotal episode, set on Georgie’s birthday. Mandy insists he go on his date (with someone else), while she stays home with their baby. It’s a good one, as is the “Ghosts” rerun at 8:30: Pete, the Boy Scout ghost, might get to see his daughter’s wedding, if she holds it at the manor.
4) More comedies, CW. There are new episodes of “Son of a Critch” (Mark obsesses on seeing Halley’s comet) at 8 and “Children Ruin Everything” (the kids lie about their chores) at 9:30. They sandwich “Conners” reruns, starting with one that re-united the actresses who played Becky. Sarah Chalke, a past Becky, plays someone who almost hired the curren Becky (Lucy Goranson) as a surrogate.
5) ALSO: It’s the second half of shows that started last week. On “SEAL Team” (9-11 p.m., CBS), the team tries to survive its Veneuela adventure. On “Gordon Ramsay’s Road Trip” (9-10 p.m.. Fox), the mission is less risky: Ramsay is in Spain with Fred Sirieix, sampling food, flamenco dancing, winemaking and clam-catching.
