1) “The Conners,” 8:30 and 9 p.m.,, CW. This is a first: A show that still has new episodes on one broadcast network will have reruns on another. “The Conners” (shown here) starts its sixth season Feb. 7 on ABC, but now it reruns its first season here. That starts with some terrific episodes – the first with the family impacted by Roseanne’s death, the second with David (Johnny Galecki) visiting.
2) “Son of a Critch,” 8 p.m., CW. In 1982, John Paul II became the first pope to visit Canada; he spent 12 days there. In this episode, Mark hides an illness so he can catch the papal visit; his older brother is tempted to work for a competitor to their dad’s radio station. Also, “Children Ruin Everything” (9:30 p.m., CW) finds Astrid and James doubting their parenting methods.
3) “The Golden Wedding,” 8-10 p.m., ABC. “The Bachelor” has had few marriages, but the first “Golden Bachelor” brings a quick one. Just five months after Gerry Turner, 72, met Theresa Nist, 70, they’re planning a live-TV wedding. Both are widowed; she works in financial services and he was listed as a retired restaurateur … until skeptics said he hasn’t had a restaurant in 40 years.
4) “Transplant,” 9 p.m., NBC. For the second straight week, “Tramsplant” offers an especially strong episode. Last week it was emotional, as Bash and his sister were finally approved for Canadian citizenship. Now it’s physical; chaos at the hospital leads to some hectic action, alongside the usual bits of solid drama.
5) “Ghosts UK,” 9 and 9:30 p.m., CBS. After tonight, CBS will return to putting dramas in this hour. For now, however, there are two problems: First, Alison – the only one who can see and hear the ghosts – isn’t home; they try to warn Mike about an intruder. Then it’s time to make money by holding a wedding … which, of course, goes bad.
