1) “Christmas With the Tabernacle Choir,” 8-9:30 p.m., PBS. From its opening moments, this is a truly gorgeous concert. More than 500 volunteers are in the massive choir, orchestra and more, with Lea Salonga (shown here) — from Broadway and from Disney’s “Mulan” and “Aladdin” – as soloist. The music soars through classical and pop, sacred and secular, and David Suchet tells a moving story. This also airs on BYU-TV on Dec. 17, 21, 22 and 24.
2) “Fargo,” 10 p.m., FX. Last week, Dot fought a Halloween-night invasion by thugs. She won, but her husband was electrocuted by one of her devices. Now he’s in the hospital and his mother schemes to put her there Her escape efforts spark an hour that is wild, messy and thoroughly entertaining.
3) “FBI True,” 10:30 p.m., CBS. In a late change, CBS dropped its plan for tonight to include an hour about the Waco siege in 1993. Instead, the “Big Brother Reindeer Games” (9 p.m.) will be extended to 90 minutes, followed at 10:30 by a rerun of the half-hour look at the hunt for the “Golden State Killer.”
4) “The Voice,” 8 and 9 p.m., NBC. The first hour recaps Monday’s nine performances. In the second, viewers learn four of the people who will advance to the finals, then get to vote for one more. Also, John Legend and Niall Horan perform. That collides with a “holiday singalong” special from “The Masked Singer,” from 8-10 p.m.,on Fox,
5) ALSO: ABC goes all-holiday, with the animated “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town” at 8 p.m. and a two-hour”Great Christmas Light Fight” at 9. CBS has a new “NCIS: Sydney” at 8. And Hulu has a powerful episode of “A Murder at the End of the World.” We finally learn details about Andy’s troubled family and about Bill splitting with Darby.
