1) “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.” 8 p.m., CBS. Rudolph (shown here) comes to the rescue: CBS dumped “Loteria Loca” (after just four episodes), leaving a gap on Mondays. Now “Rudolph,” originally set for last Friday, has been moved here. Afterward, it jumps to the Freeform cable channel, where it will run on Dec. 3, 4, 21, 24 and 25.
2) “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test” finale, 9 p.m., Fox. Here’s the opposite of the sweet “Rudolph.” In its first season, only two of 16 people survived the brutal demands – soccer star Carli Lloyd and Hannah Brown of “The Bachelorette.” This time, five of 14 are still there – speed skater Erin Jackson, Nick Viall and Tyler Cameron from the “Bachelorette” world, Tom Sandoval of “Vanderpump Rules” and singer-dancer JoJo Siwa.
3) “Kitchen Nightmares,” 8 p.m.. Fox. “It’s been a tough one,” Gordon Ramsay says at the end of this hour. And that’s by the show’s nightmare-ish standards. In a tiny (25-seat) Brooklyn restaurant, he waited 20 minutes for a $28 appetizer, then tried a $30 burger. The co-owners (one $120,000 in debt) openly describe “a toxic relationship.” Ramsay overcomes things, but it’s no feel-good hour.
4) “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” (2005), 5:30 p.m., TNT. A new “Wonka” reaches theaters on Dec. 15, but it will be tough to match this one, brilliantly directed by Tim Burton. It’s followed by Will Ferrell’s amiable “Elf” (2003), at 8 and 10 p.m. That’s sandwiched by the fairly good “Fred Claus” (2007), at 3 p.m. and midnight.
5) ALSO: “Mickey’s Christmas Tales” debuts at 10:25 a.m. on the Disney Channel and Disney Jr. At night, “The Voice” (8-10 p.m., NBC) continues its playoffs. At 10, CBS has an “NCIS” rerun (a college-student pedestrian is killed) and NBC has a Christmas-themed “Weakest Link,” with contestants including a Santa, an elf and a Dickens singer. We’ll assume Santa is never a weak link.
