CBS seems to be breaking up its old gang.
Last week, it announced that “Young Sheldon” is in its final season. Now it says the same thing for “Blue Bloods.”
The difference is in length. “Young Sheldon” apparently had a 13-episode prder and will conclude in May; “Blue Bloods,” apparently with 22 episodes, will continue into May, then pause and have its final episodes next fall.
It will be the seventh season for “Sheldon” and the 14th for “Blue Bloods,” which has Tom Selleck (shown here) as the New York police commissioner, with two sons who are cops and a daughter who is a prosecutor in the district attorney’s office.
Both shows are currently airing reruns – 8 p.m. Thursdays and 10 p.m. Fridays – with new episodes starting on Feb. 15 and 16.
