1) “Will Trent,” 8 p.m., ABC. Fridays have become the best night for drama reruns. There are the CBS ones, now joined by this sharp show. Will (Ramon Rodriguez, shown here) is a Georgia Bureau of Investigation detective, short on people skills. He’s hated by most cops, secretly loved by one (Erika Christensen). In this strong second half of the series-opener, a kidnapped teen is the daughter of an enemy/friend (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) from their days in juvenile hall.
2) “SWAT” and more, 8-11 p.m., CBS. And here are the other drama-rerun choices. The “SWAT” team racs to stop a department-store robbery … then worries that it was planned as a distraction from something bigger. At 9, “Fire Country” fights a massive and unpredictable wildfire. At 10 on “Blue Bloods,” Danny probes a gang attack, confronting someone from a previous case.
3) “Wildflower,” Hulu. Many viewers still know Kiernan Shipka as Don’s daughter in “Mad Men.” She went on to range from being Sabrina the teen witch on Netflix to Howard Hunt’s daughter in “White House Plumbers.” Now, at 23, she tackles a tough role. As it opens, she’s in a coma; the story then samples moments as she struggled with the life of a teen with developmentally disabled parents.
4) “Through My Window: Across the Sea,” Netflix. This movie (a romantic sequel), wraps up a busy streaming week. That includes sci-fi – “Secret Invasion” (with Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury) on Disney+, “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds” continuing on Paramount+ — and the entire “The Bear” season on Hulu. From overseas, the involving “The Lesson” is on ChaiFlicks and “A Road Less Travelled” (a Liv Ullmann profile) is on Viaplay.
5) MORE: In the season’s second “Outlander,” Claire makes a jolting discovery about her grandchild; also, a familiar person returns, with explosive consequences. That’s 8 p.m. on Starz, rerunning at 9:30 and 11:02. Also: most PBS stations are rerunning Monday’s “Great American Recipe” opener at 9 p.m. today. And for fun, AMC has the first two “Ghostbusters” films at 6 and 8:30 p.m.; TNT has the second and third “Hangover” ones at 6 and 8.
