1) “Saturday Night Live,” 11:29 p.m., NBC. Ana de Armas has done excellent work in a great film (“Knives Out,” shown here) and in an awful one (“Blonde”). Now – six days before her “Ghosted” debuts — she has her first turn hosting “SNL”; the music guest is Karol G.
2) Basketball, ESPN and ABC. After a week of “play-in” games, to fill the final spots, the NBA playoffs begin. Today’s games are on ESPN at 1, 3:30 and 6 p.m. ET, then on ABC at 8:30 (with pre-game show at 8). That’s on a crowded sports day: Fox has USFL football at 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. ET; Fox Sports 1 has baseball – a Jackie Robinson Day game with the Brewers and Padres at 4 — and NASCAR at 7:30.
3) “FBI: International,” 8 p.m., CBS. It’s always handy when you’re investigators look like models. In this rerun, an Americam model is killed in Milan; Vo (Vinessa Vidotto) goes undercover. That’s followed at 9 by an “NCIS: Hawaii” rerun, with agents called in during their day off, because a seaman has been involved in a murder.
4) “Succession,” 10:10 p.m., HBO. Here’s one more chance to see ast Sunday’s pivotal episode – the one that set the show in new directions for its final seven episodes, starting at 9 p.m. Sunday. It’s preceded by superheroes – “The Batman” and “Black Adam” (both 2022) – at 4:55 and 8 p.m.
5) More movies: You can choose between epic trilogies: The “Lord of the Rings” films are at 2, 6 and 10 p.m. on the Paramount Network; the “Matrix” ones are 6 and 9 p.m. and midnight on E. Or you can go oldie – “Top Gun” (1986) on CMT and Audrey Hepburn films – “Wait Until Dark” (1967) and “My Fair Lady” (1964) – at 6 and 8 p.m. on Turner Classic Movies.
