For “Big Brother” fans, this gets sort of dizzying: Thursday’s episode has been moved yet again,
It was originally moved to Friday. Now, instead, it’s part of a two-hour bloc Sunday.
The shift began when CBS decided to air the congressional Jan. 6 committee hearings. That’s from 8-10 p.m. ET Thursday, ousting two comedy reruns and starting the nomadic journey for “Big Brother.”
First it went to Friday, delaying “Secret Celebrity Renovation” for a week. But CBS had also decided to use the 9 p.m. slot for the season-opener of “Blood and Treasure,” an adventure tale on Paramount+.
A reality show wouldn’t provide much of a lead-in for that. Instead, it will now be surrounded with “Blue Bloods” reruns, moving “Big Brother” (again) and bumping “The Equalizer.”
So Friday has “Blue Bloods” at 8, “Blood and Treasure” at 9 and “Blue Bloods” again at 10. Sunday has “Big Brother” at 8 and 9 and “NCIS: Los Angeles” at 10.
At least, for now.
