For the third straight year, an awards show is being delayed by COVID.
This time, it’s the Grammys. Originally scheduled for Jan. 31 in Los Angeles, it’s now been moved to April 3 in Las Vegas.
That will be the latest the Grammys have ever aired. It will also be the first time this hasn’t been in LA or New York since 1973 (when it was in Nashville). Trevor Noah will still host.
That’s on CBS, which was particularly active when COVID first appeared in 2020. It devised seveal shows – with Garth Brooks, Billie Eilish and more – that were done from singers’ homes.
