1) “Making It” finale, 9 p.m., NBC. This low-key gem has been a delight. Its first two seasons were nominated for Emmys (best hosts, Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman, shown here) and Television Critics Association awards (best reality show). After missing last year, the show is back and has its final four – Chelsea Andersson, a miniaturist; Kara Walker, a fabricator; Melanio Gomez, a propmaker; and Adam Kingman, an industrial designer whose dad (Dave) twice was the National League home run champion.
2) “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” 8 and 8:30 p.m., NBC. It’s been an odd friendship between these two. Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg), a cop, keeps pursuing, and sometimes catching, Doug Judy (Craig Robinson), a crook. Now their ninth episode is a dandy: Others have caught Doug, but Jake wants to be the one to take him to prison; soon, we have a clever array of schemes and counterschemes. That’s followed by an episode that has Jake continuing to dig into a case after the FBI takes it over.
3) “Grown-ish,” 8 p.m., Freeform. Last week’s episode endwith a jolt: Zoey’s boss stole her design, presenting it as her own; then Luca stirred up the issue online. Now it all grows as Zoey sees her future shrinking; it’s a good episode of this drama-comedy, leaning mostly to the drama side.
4) “Coroner,” 8 p.m., CW. Last week’s season-opener found Jenny enmeshed in troubles. Her boyfriend had left, her father was sinking into Alzheimer’s disease and her medical-examiner work was encased in the pandemic. Now a body is found in a retreat center’s maze; she discovers the dark side of therapy.
5) “B Positive,” 9:30 p.m., CBS. Over the next two Thursdays, CBS will rerun the final two episodes of this comedy’s excellent first season. Tonight, Drew and Gina finally have a day scheduled for their transplant surgery; next week, she plans for her new apartment and new life.
